                                                CORRUPTION IN THE PHILIPPINES


  According to Merriam-Webster dictionary a meaning of corruption is a impairment of integrity, virtue, or moral principle. It makes me realize that our government had been guilty of that for so long.

  For example from the time of former President Ferdinand Marcos up to the government of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, corruption is common among government officials. They don't care even if their people is suffering from poverty. Other than that Gloria Macapagal Arroyo made to believe the people of the Philippines that she won the 2004 election ans she sell a secondhand helicopter to the AFP for the price of a new chopper. If we can see Vietnam is really progressing like the in the Philippines the (IRRI) or International Rice Research Institute is here, so why is our government is in dept loaning rice from other Countries, look at these rice they just root on the NFA bodega. And in the administration of Joseph Ejercito Estrada he was ousted from his position because of participation on the juenteng scandal.

  These examples show how the integrity, virtue or moral principle of those public official who even occupies the highest positions in the country are being impaired. So i made this blog to key update to all the local, national news about corruption. And I wonder if our public officials now are willing to change or do the same thing.
